About Us
We have been developing games & working with other designers to make freeware games for people to enjoy for over 8 years. Our games are developed in free time & for fun. We specialise in adventure games as we beleive a good storyline, fun problem solving & engrossing atmosphere are essential. We hope to make commercial & free games in the future.

Achievements
  1. In 2008, two games featuring soundtracks by Mark J Lovegrove, Nelly & 6DAS featured in the highly acclaimed magazine PC Gamer.

  2. In 2008, two music soundtracks by Screen 7 were nominated in the AGS Awards for best music. The winning game of the year Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy features music by Screen 7. Other games featuring our music also won several awards!

  3. In 2007 the demo for Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth won Best Demo in the 2006 AGS (Adventure Game Studio) Awards. Thanks to everyone who voted but most of all to everyone who played it and enjoyed it! You can play the demo here!

  4. In 2006 the demo for our point & click adventure Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth was featured in two top UK gaming magazines - PC Gamer and PC Zone! Both magazines spoke highly of our efforts. More than 30,000 downloaded our demo! Ron Gilbert was also given an earlier version of the demo in person at a special meet.

  5. Screen 7 has written music for more than 200 freeware adventure games. Award-winning composer Mark Lovegrove has created catchy tunes for games including Adventures of Fatman, Larry Vales, Rob Blanc and Rodekill. More soundtrack information here.

  6. In 2003 Screen 7 contributed an original soundtrack to the first commercial AGS adventure game - The Adventures of Fatman by SOCKO! Entertainment. The game & soundtrack also won awards!

  7. Screen 7 wrote & published the popular online adventure game developers magazine "AGDzine" from 2001 to 2004. The magazine featured key interviews with adventure game creators including Ron Gilbert, Steve Stamatadis, David Gray & Chris Jones who designed the Adventure Game Studio.   8. Screen 7 founded "Mittens", a gathering of AGS users from around the globe in summer 2002. The first "Mittens" event was held in Surrey, UK - and since then its popularity has grown tremendously & adventure developers have visited New York, Greece & Sweden.

  9. In 2002, Adam Hay's first major release, The Journey Home was nominated for "best game of the year" in the newly formed AGS awards. This game was Screen 7's first full release. Find the game here! Several other games have been nominated for awards.

Did you know? There was a company many years back called Screen 7 who also made games - including a Jaws game! Sadly they went bankrupt.
