Information
  1. Lost In Paradise was designed back in 2002, but has sat dormant in our projects folder for some time. It was only recently that I (Mark) decided to take on the role of artist and get the project underway. I will be coding & writing music for the game too.

  2. The game spans 7 islands and features more than 200 interactive rooms. It's a classic point & click adventure aimed at younger audiences, but will still appeal to adventure fans of all ages!
  3. 3D rendered backgrounds & movies throughout the game give it more depth. A non-linear storyline will keep you guessing the whole way through. Original music & hundreds of sound effects!
  4. Ambient exploration and (hopefully) logical puzzles, but be careful - it's definitely an illogical world that Ted is exploring!

  5. The original script for the game did not include Ted Lansing as a character, but more recently Mark realised that the story for Lost In Paradise would work perfectly as Ted's first major adventure in a series of 7. Ted's age will progress through the series.
  6. The first "Ted Lansing" game to be released was nothing more than a demo made in QBasic, called "Broken Glass", back in 1997. Mark's other earlier QBasic adventure games "Earthquest" and "The Lost Gem" will be completely revamped as major adventures for Ted.
  7. The former title for Lost In Paradise was "Islands of Adventure". Farlander became the games 1st official fan! The main character was called Andy Smart. Most of the puzzles from the original script are still in-tact, but most of the character names have changed.
  8. Scrapped locations from the original drawings include a church, a hospital & a hair-dressers. Original name before "Quern Islands" included "Krow Islands", "Quax Islands" and "Quey Islands".
  9. This game will be my first self-made full adventure game, so there are bound to be some holes & plenty of areas for improvement! Please accept it as an experiment! Thanks for your support this far!
